The rules for using PitchRep as a visitor, a founder or an investor.
About PitchRep
PitchRep is a place where founders present their business in a 60-second pitch, and where investors and other visitors discover those businesses and look at the evidence founders publish.
Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with an email address. We send a one-time code to that address. Keep your codes and your signed-in session private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
Pitches you publish
You keep ownership of the content you publish. By publishing it, you allow PitchRep to display that content on the site and to show it to visitors. You are responsible for what you publish and for having the right to publish it.
Information on the site
Each pitch is the founder’s own presentation. Read it as the founder’s claim. PitchRep does not give investment, legal or tax advice.
Placements, boosts and payments
Placements on the site are sold through a weekly auction, and founders can buy boosts. The auction rules are in the Auction terms. Payments are processed by Stripe, and PitchRep does not store card numbers.
Acceptable use
Do not use PitchRep to publish unlawful, fraudulent or misleading content, to reach accounts or data that are not yours, or to disrupt the service.
Securities disclaimer
- PitchRep is not a broker-dealer.
- Nothing on PitchRep is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell securities.
- Founders provide the information shown for their pitch. Investors should do their own diligence before relying on any of it.
Governing law and liability
Governing law, the dispute process and any limits on liability are pending legal review.
